Setting up MetaMask wallet
Install MetaMask: MetaMask is also available as a browser extension for Google Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Microsoft Edge. Search for "MetaMask" in the app or extension store of your chosen device or browser and and follow the installation prompts.
Launch MetaMask: After installation, you'll see the MetaMask icon on your home screen(or at the top right corner of your browser for the extension). Tap on that icon to launch MetaMask.
Create a New Wallet: When you open MetaMask for the first time, you'll see a welcome screen. Tap "Get Started" and then read and agree to terms and conditions to continue creating a strong password that you will use daily to unlock your wallet when you use open your MetaMask app or extension.
Backup Your Seed Phrase: MetaMask will provide you with a 12- or 24-word seed phrase. This is the most critical part of your wallet setup. Write it down on a piece of paper and store it securely. Never share this phrase with anyone.
Confirm Your Seed Phrase: To ensure you've recorded the seed phrase correctly, MetaMask will ask you to confirm it by selecting the words in the correct order.
Wallet Setup Complete! After confirming your seed phrase, your wallet setup is complete. You can now access your wallet by entering your password.
Switch to Binance Smart Chain network: By default, MetaMask connects to the Ethereum mainnet. To switch to Binance Smart Chain, click on the Icon "Network: on upper left of metamask.
Funding MetaMask wallet with USDT
If you don't already have a Binance account, visit the Binance website and click on "Register" to create an account. Follow the registration process, complete the necessary verification steps, and set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.
Log In to Your Binance Account: Once you have an account, log in using your registered email address and password and complete Identity Verification (Optional).
Purchase USDT via Trading or P2P (follow links for instructions). Your order may take a minute or more to finish processing and you'll receive your USDT tokens in your Binance wallet once the order has executed.
Check Your Wallet: After your order is complete, go to the "Wallet" section to confirm that your USDT tokens are in your spot wallet (for trading) or funding wallet (for P2P).
Transfer to your Metamask Wallet: In Metamask, copy your wallet address and go back to Binance app and withdraw your USDT tokens by entering your metamask wallet address.
